Clear the stage!
Accompanying a large German orchestra on its North American tour has its own special 'highlights'. Rehearsals at the next location started just twelve hours after the concert in the south of the USA.
A meticulously planned logistics operation that included chartering an aeroplane ensured that everything was a success.
Just a few minutes after the last note had been played, all of the orchestra's equipment was on its way to the nearest airport where an aeroplane was already waiting. Rehearsals began on time the morning after at the next venue.
