Straight through the mountains
The task - transport mining equipment from Great Britain to Bolivia. The goal - route planning with heights without depths. Thus, go! We set out on the road in matters of planning.
And, for a perfect solution, we initiated an investigation of the routing months prior to the transport. Our solution: 2,600 km. by water route through Buenos Aires.
What we could not plan - the weather conditions. There was very little water in the Rio Paraguay and the Rio Parana. On the last stages, the natural routes were soaked by rain and nearly impassable. Several times, the towing vehicles had to be supported by additional powerful lorries.
At the end of the long road - satisfied faces.

A copper mill for Australia
Step 1 - with three barges, the individual cargo elements were brought to Hamburg from Essen and Duisburg.
Step 2 - in the two European ports of loading - Vigo and Hamburg - Conceptum Logistics conducted the complete preparations and the port handling with pinpoint precision. After thousands of kilometers of sea routes, unloading took place at a private pier in Henderson, Australia - south of Fremantle - with the ship's own lifting gear.
Adverse weather conditions of the Australian winter impeded the direct handling of the heavy lifts on the lorries that were standing by. Nevertheless, the copper mill reached its target on a timely basis.

A surface mining facility - from China to South Africa
An e-mail from China: "Are you able to bring a 6,500 ton bucket wheel excavator to South Africa?
Including coordination of a number of individual parts deliveries of various Chinese manufacturers?" Our answer from Hamburg - "Of course!"
The perfect port of discharge was quickly spotted - Saldhana Bay. It was particularly selected because of its excellent storage capacities and outstanding connections to the hinterland.
Early in the planning, our partners in South Africa and we considered the following - the dimensions of the largest parts, with lengths up to 21 meters and widths up to 9.54 meters, and a 800 km. long final leg to the construction site and/or to the Sishen South mine.
