Brief description
As Business Development Manager Western India (m/f/d), building and expanding customer relationships is your top priority. You will market our complex logistics services, which we develop for our international customers. In our Mumbai office, you will be part of an established team of project logistics professionals who focus primarily on developing and closing new business opportunities.
The Conceptum Logistics Group is specialized in project logistics. We develop individual transport solutions for our customers and transport freight – no matter how large or heavy – to the most remote regions of the globe. Founded in 2002, we have a variety of clients on all continents and are represented at many locations worldwide with our own branch offices (USA, India, China, Spain, Finland, Germany, Colombia, Peru, Canada and Türkiye included). Many years of experience abroad, reliable planning, proactive response times, short decision-making, and a “hands-on” focus, ensure long-standing relationships with our customers.
Conceptum Logistics India currently has offices set up in Bangalore and Mumbai. We plan to open branch offices in Chennai and Delhi in the near future.
- high integrity and proven credentials in the Freight market in Mumbai and Western India
- Thorough and detailed understanding of the Forwarding business
- 7 to 10 years of sales experience in international logistics
- Excellent knowledge of shipping documentation, Bills of Lading, AirWay Bills, Invoices, survey processes, insurance processes, etc
- Experience in working with CRM systems
- Proven track record of over-achieving quota
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to effectively plan and organize appointments and meet reporting deadlines
- Excellent networking skills
- Fluent in business English, further local languages an advantage
