Manager Operations and Project Management / Ukraine

As a Manager Customer Operations & Project Management (m/f/d), you play a key role in ensuring the efficient, accurate, and seamless handling of customer project tenders as well as internal and partner requests. Together with the Customer Request Management & Pricing team, you coordinate the execution of domestic and international project shipments and contribute to delivering outstanding service across global logistics networks.

• Implementation of successful tenders/bids within our organisation, with commercial responsibility throughout the entire project
• Representing the company in sales meetings, bid clarification meetings, negotiations and kick-off meetings
• Telephone and written communication with customers, suppliers, shipowners, terminals, partners and agents (including internationally)
• Travel as required (supervision of loading and unloading, kick-off meetings, etc.)
• Complete handling of global project shipments (OOG, heavy lift, conventional shipments and container shipments), including customs clearance and interface control
• Preparation of transport documents, including those relating to letter of credit transactions where applicable
• Receipt and, where necessary, processing of damage claims
• Invoicing of orders
• A commercial apprenticeship (ideally in freight forwarding and logistics or shipping) or an equivalent qualification
• Initial experience in project cargo (OOG, heavy lift)
• Initial experience of, or an interest in, breakbulk transport by sea or land
• A passion for managing large-scale international projects
• A willingness to learn new things, to play an active role and a high degree of self-motivation
• Open-mindedness, the ability to work in a team and good negotiation skills
• Good knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of Cargosoft would be an advantage
• Good English skills; other languages
• Knowledge of Russian helpful, but not essential.
