Brief description

As Manager Business Development (m/f/d) you will be joining the team of our Conceptum Logistics branch office Shanghai in China. This position focuses on project cargo and OOG (out-of-gauge/overweight) logistics business, learning professional knowledge and developing business capabilities in this field. With the guidance and support of the team, the role will systematically master business skills, assist in customer development, and gradually grow into an independent salesperson, so as to support Conceptum China in expanding market share and achieving business development goals.

  • Professional Learning & Skill Development: Actively learn and master professional knowledge of project cargo & OOG logistics, including business operation process, market strategy, industry development trend, pricing composition, risk control and other related skills.
  • Sales Skills Learning: Learn and master customer development methods, business negotiation skills and project operation logic for project cargo & OOG business.
  • Customer Development Assistance: Follow the direct supervisor to participate in market development, customer visit, business communication and other work, and assist in promoting customer cooperation.
  • Customer Relationship Support: Assist in maintaining basic customer communication, responding to simple inquiries, sorting out customer information and business materials.
  • Gradual Independent Development: Under supervision, gradually participate in independent customer development and business promotion, and improve independent business capability step by step.
  • Complete other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the direct supervisor.
  • Bachelor’s degree, Marketing, logistics, English or other foreign language majors are preferred.
  • Strong desire and motivation to become an excellent salesperson; willing to grow and develop in the field of project cargo and OOG logistics.
  • No strict logistics industry experience required; fresh graduates or candidates who are willing to switch to sales are welcome.
  • Proficient in English (both oral and written) is preferred,or candidates willing to enhance their professional English and business communication skills are also welcome.
  • Good communication skills, strong learning ability, proactive working attitude and good teamwork spirit.
  • Strong self-motivation, able to bear certain work pressure, and willing to take the initiative to develop business.
